The prized
Headies Next Rated category will see Reekado Banks, Kiss Daniel, Korede Bello, Cynthia Morgan and Lil’ Kesh slug it out. The winners of the Next Rated category will be going home with a brand new car.
Ayoleyi Hanniel Solomon (born 6 December
1993), better known by his stage name
Reekado Banks, is a Nigerian recording
artist, rapper and songwriter, signed to
Mavin Records.
He went by the stage name Spicy prior to his record deal with the aforementioned label. He was declared the Rookie of the Year at The Headies 2014.
Reekado Banks, this guy won the Rookie
of the year award last year for his hard work, now this year i am sure most of you have heard; Katapot, Sugar Baby, Chop Am, and more.. This guy released a lot of
hit singles within last year and this year, he worked on a few collabos too. So he absolutely deserves it.
There is a rumor going on that Headies won’t give the Next Rated Award to a rapper most especially an indigenous one, We have not confirmed that though.
But if that is true it means Reekado might walk home with the Next Rated Carat Gold and a Hyundai car for his hard work and his town shaking hit singles and of course Nigerians vote this year. If he wins it he deserves it!
