Boosie and Jeezy team up for “Real N*ggas.”
Though Boosie just dropped off Out My Feelings (In My Past) at the beginning of the month — his second album of 2016, mind you — he’s already back with two new singles. TWO. On the first, he teams up with a like-minded veteran, Jeezy, for an impassioned ode to “Real N*ggas.”
Boosie is tired of everyone talking about bitches, so he decides to change the subject. He considers the late greats 2Pac and Pimp C to be among the rare breed of men who live up to the song’s title. (He doesn’t forget his own mother, though — “these n*ggas ain’t realer than her”).
Jeezy drops off a tough verse, too, and there’s no denying the realness of either emcee. “Real N*ggas” isn’t Boosie’s only gift of the day — his other single features Young Thug and Lil Durk.
